A real, printed magazine where every page is about one person: their year, their stories, their people. Researched in real archives, written like features, illustrated around their life, then printed on proper magazine stock and posted to their door. Up to 42 pages.

The year it all began

Every issue passes the same desks as a real magazine, only faster. A studio would need weeks and a budget; this takes a few minutes.
Before a word is written, we pull the documented record: what happened on their exact date, the year's events month by month, the real number one songs, and notes on their home town.
Your answers become a brief for every picture: their places, their passions, their era. One visual thread runs through the issue, so it looks like a single commissioned shoot.
Every chapter is written at the same time, to strict rules: personal details only from you, history only from the record, and none of the phrases that make writing sound machine-made.
Everything is set into a print-ready A4 magazine: chapter openers, illustrated then-and-now pages, a signed certificate, and a colophon that lists the sources.
Included
Every issue comes with a gift link to unwrap it, a short video to share it, games to play and pages friends can sign. All included in the €19.90.
Send a private link. They tap open a gift box, read your note and flip through every page. Set it to open on the morning of the big day.
A short vertical video of the magazine with music, page turns and their best facts. Made for the group chat or Instagram stories.
Share one link with friends and family. They add a message and a photo without signing up, and it lands in the magazine word for word.
Crosswords, word searches, bingo cards, match-ups and predictions, all written around the person. Perfect for the party table.
Passports, report cards, recipe cards, playlists, star ratings and a map of their life's stops, chosen to suit the occasion.
Edit any line yourself, ask for a funnier rewrite, or have a picture redrawn. Then print a matching A5 gift card to hand over.
Designs set the fonts and the inside pages, from a fashion glossy to a broadsheet or a storybook. Colourways recolour the whole magazine. Covers, like a taped instant photo or a boarding pass, work with any design. Mix all three.

Yes. Create a link on the Photos & messages step and drop it in the group chat. Friends add a message and a photo without signing up, and you bring everything into the magazine with one tap.

The writing follows strict rules: public facts (songs, prices, leaders, champions) must be real and documented, and uncertain figures are marked “approx.”. Numbers like days alive are calculated exactly, not guessed. It is written by AI though, so give it a read before you hand it over.
No. Personal details come only from what you type. If you give us little, the magazine leans on the era and the place instead of making things up.
Photos you add yourself are resized in your browser and placed into the PDF on your device. Photos friends send through your link are kept only until you close the link. Only your written answers go to the AI.
Each magazine costs us real money to write and illustrate, so we ask you to sign in first. We only see your name and email.
